The Brueghel family produced outstanding artists for almost 150 years. The first, Pieter Brueghel the Elder, is the foremost name in 16th-century Flemish painting. This exhibition will trace that lineage and highlight the beauty and appeal of Flemish painting through landscape paintings, genre paintings, and still lifes of flowers by artists of the Brueghel dynasty and their followers. The exhibition will consist of some 100 works, many of them from private collections and rarely seen in public.
